hi :) I think you should talk to him. You don't have to make a move on him or anything, just become friends with him. You shouldn't hurt like that when you see someone when you don't have to! You can become friends with him, and find out for yourself if he is gay or not. If you really like him, it will be worth a shot, always is. :)

If you really like this boy, then i personally think you should try speaking to him more, and become quite close. If you become friends with this boy then he will most probably tell you wether he is gay or not, and you can find out that way, because if you just go up too him and ask he could get offended. I hope that helped at all.
