We are not really worried about me getting pregnant. We are basically like "if it happens then it happens". Am i being irresponsible? Should i use protection? reader, anonymous, writes (5 August 2010): Yes, you are being irrespsonsible. This is a HUMAN BEING being created we are talking about here!!! It shouldn't be "if it happens, it happens". It's a matter of WHEN it happens, because it will, and soon, unless there is something wrong with one of you.
If you think you are so meant to be, then why not get married instead...

 If u dont want a baby and are not ready for one, get on birthcontrol right away. There's endless options to choose from, a ring u insert, the pill, the patch, the pill that makes u only have 4 periods a year..And condoms...also remember contraceptives 99% effective there's still that 1%. Also how do u know if youre going to be with this guy forever, u dont..U could get pregnant and he could instantly change his mind and back out. Finish ur education first, then talk about a baby if ur still together. But for now its in ur best interest to use protection.
