hi...i kissed my boyfriend maybe like seven days ago and the next day my face swelled up really badly n i started itching and burning all over my body.my lips still burn evryday all day. I itch the most in the morning time..I burn the most on my arms. my neck hurts alot and I was wondering what could all this weirdness be? do i have herpes or something? I looked up the symptoms I have and it related to herpes. My eyes burn alot too.but I don't have any outbreaks or anything and when I went ot the doctor i was told that with herpes there is no burning alot without outbreaks? I was so confused.they haven't gave me my results back yet. I do feel sick but only when my stomach hurts though...what should I do about this???i feel wierd and i'm worried but at the same time this could probably be nothing at all.....Please your advice

Have you heard anything from your doctor dear? What is he telling you? This really sounds like an allergic reaction, like you are eating or coming in contact with something. My husband is a heart doctor, and doesn't really know a lot about allergies, or herpes, and I certainly don't want to be giving you wrong advice. PLEASE contact your medical provider so you can find out what is going on. Make a list of everything you are eating, ect.

thank you for your advice....but i have no rashes and i asked because i know that ppl can catch herpes though kissing.can you ask your husband if herpes is a must of outbreaks?like is a person with herpes guarnateed to have outbreaks becuase i don't have any outbreaks.how long does it take to occur?because my lips are burning right now and they have been for hours.im kinda itching and burning.does your husband know what this relates to or is it just an allergic reaction?

There are so many reasons for itching like this, I am sure either you had an allergic reaction to something he was using/wearing or a food you ate that day.

I would see an allergist for some testing though, and be sure your dr. does a whole blood panel to be sure everything is working properly! (liver etc)

I've never heard of a person being allergic to another person, so that's why I was wondering if he used some kind of lotion/aftershave on his face that he hadn't used before? More than likely I think its a coincidence you kissing him and that happening, I think it was something else you ate, or took. My husband is a doctor, and that was his advice to try really hard to remember if you ate anything new, different, were exposed to anything that would cause you to react like that. Because what you experienced was definetely an allergic reaction. Our son had that happen to him with a medicine.

It certainly sounds like you are having an allergic reaction. That could come from many things..did you anything new?taking any kind of medicine? Did your boyfriend wear a new aftershave?cologne? Try to think back and remember if she changed anything, tried anything new. I'm not a doctor, so I'm just guessing..I hope you are feeling better...
