Scared to ask him out, because he's already so popular

There is a boy I really like at school and I want to ask him out. I would, it's just that he is quite popular with girls and I'm scared that if I ask him out I might get bullied or teased.

Have you got any suggestions on what I could do please? I think he likes me too.

In my experience, you should ask him. You have to think 'What's the worst that could happen?'

I fancied a popular guy at my school and I'm not exactly very popular myself. Admittedly I was more nervous than I'd ever been before, and only managed to e-mail him to tell him I liked him, but I at least managed that, something I never thought I could have done.

I was rejected, but he was kind and sensitive about it, he told his friends but made them promise not to say anything, and they never have.

I never thought I could have told someone I liked them, but I realise now even though he said no, it was the best thing I could have done. It's better to be rejected than forever wonder 'What if...?'

Go for it, if you like this boy I'm sure you'll feel the same way I did.
