Well, I'm about to be a senior. Although my junior year wasn't horrible. In some parts it was pretty tough. I DID do my best though. Applying for college (art college) will be right around the corner and I'm getting so anxious... Scared my work and grades won't be good enough. Is there any advice out there that I could get to sort of overcome this bit of anxiety?

What have been your experiences with applying to colleges?

Is the process as scary as adults(teachers and such) make it seem? what about grades?

Starlights agony auntOf course being scared about your grades is normal...

try not to worry too much try talking it over with other mates in the same position (i remmeber thats what i used to do at school)

- having other people in the same boat as me , really helped to take away the anxiety and made me realise im not alone in this madness!!!!!

your work & grades will be good enough if you think well, eat well, and get enough rest! and of course make sure you leave some (a little) time to chill out with friends and share your thoughts with them.

Good luck!

Teacher's and adults do make things worse by constantly going on about it, but the thing is this part of education is the most important, that's why!

Try not to worry about it, do what you did before and just put lots of effort and thought into your work and hopefully you'll get the grades that you want!

If not, I don't know if it's the same in the USA, but In England we can re-take an exam the following year?

When applying for colleges don't lie, try to show interest and put some interesting qualities about yourself, for example you enjoy reading or you helped do a charity event, even if you play an instrument.

try not to get worried, work your way bit by bit but also plan for the future! Best Of Luck :)
