reader, anonymous, writes (7 May 2009): He's always in the back of your mind, you'd go way out of your way to make him happy, but not tell him that you went out of your way, you care too much about him to pick fights or snap at him for no good reason, you put him above yourself, sometimes it's nice to just sit with him and hold his hand without it leading to anything sexual, you find yourself being more hurt my little insensative things that he does, when ordinarily you wouldn't care, you're not a dog, but sometimes you do whatever he says because you know he's saying it for the right reason and you awnt to make him happy (but of course you do your own thing too), you know what he likes, he knows what you like, you appreciate who he is, if he asks why you're with him, you actually have some real answers for him, you would never want to be with another man and if you did, you would never act on the fantasy..
I've "been in love" and then i have been in love.. two completely different feelings. But i didn't know it wasn't real the first time, until i felt it the second time.

You don't. You have to take a leap of faith.
During your teens it's easy to feel infatuation and to love someone but not be IN LOVE with them... but since you've not had experience with either before you just don't know.

 its easy to see. you just feel a way about that person you've never felt toward anyone, your willing to do anything for that person. idk you cant define love. or what it feels like or if you know your in love.
