 You should only tell him if you're sure things won't revert back to when he was unsupported. Don't surrender love to someone you can't trust. He wasn't there when you needed him the most, if you tell him, are you sure of whatever happens next? Are you sure you'll be happy? You need to think of what would happen with your son should things turn sour. If you two as a couple work, everyone's happy but if you don't, there will be consequences. Just make sure you have some clarity of the future and you're ready for it.
