writes:hi i have been in a relationship for 4 years now my other half and i have 2 babies together. we have been happily in love for most of the 4 years besides recently. i have been catching him in lies. some serious and some just immature. im trying to figure out why he just suddenly started lieing to me and what it means. when i try to talk to him we end up in major agruments and fights. how am i suppose to deal with this and what does it mean between our relationship?

reader, anonymous, writes (22 March 2009): It is really hard to say for sure, but it does indicate your relationship is in trouble. He may be wanting to leave you, he may be seeing another woman, but my best guess is he has something to hide.
It is a red flag for sure, and not at all a good guy to be around.....all you can do is call him out on his lies just as you have been doing and try to get to the bottom of it by asking some hard questions and telling him that you don't trust him any more because of the lies....and see how he reacts.
