A female reader, anonymous, writes (19 May 2007):

Hey i have the same problem but i'm almost 14 years old and my boyfriend is 15 and we also been together for 5 months. I get the same way how you say you get and sometimes i even cry when he has to leave. But i learned how to kind of feel better because you have to think about it and realize that you'll see him in school and every weekend as long as you guys are together. But what helps me the most is when i feel sad and upset and he knows it he just tells me to not be sad because he will always come back to me no matter what happens. And i think i know why you feel like this and it's because you and me are sooooo used to being with them and when you can't be with him you feel like a part of you is missing. So next time you feel like this just think and realize that he will come back to you as long as you guys are together.
