 Look at stresses in your life. Life is all about balance. This is embarrassing, but gives reason how stresses can cause this dysfunction. Although men and women are different, stress can have similar effects. Last year I couldn't either, in fact, if I was going to, I'd get a tightening pain in my lower stomach. The pain later when into my chest and arms, which is when my kids wouldn't leave me alone until I went to the hospital. We thought it was a heart attack. My hearts fine, but the anxiety from daily stress was consuming my body, and causing the issue similar to yours. I'd say look at how your life has changed from when you were able to, to now, what are you doing different and if there are any additional stresses that have been added since.
