A female Spain, *strid writes:

I had a very disturbing dream the other night, I am in a bus but I get lost(recuurent dream)the situation evolved for the first time last night so that suddenly after findind my way out when I am near my house I see a very big insitutional building like parliament or something, It gets me confused I see a lot of stairs that take me to my neigbourhood and when I go down the stairs they get really big so I have to sit to get to a sort of a plain area with stairs leading either to my town area or to the port area. Then I get nervous and want to go to my house area when I realise I'm in the middle of a rose of winds from where I can only see the sea and some rocks, the shore is going up and it's starting to rain the stairs behind are so high now that I cannot go back to where I was I see a girl who says cannot help me and tells me to use my mobile to call emergencies and disappears, I call them and I see an rescue helicopter and a man waves to me from there I think they're to land on te rose of winds and wake up in sweat. I know this is not a normal problem but got me real anxious today any ideas to help me find out the meaning or to sleep better?

thanks a lot

A female reader, anonymous, writes (19 December 2006):

probably just that you're stressed out and feel like you have a big situation that is overwhelming you and you feel alone like no one can help you out of it. dreams rarely have anything to do with the characters and scenes we see in them; at best, they reflect the emotions we're experiencing during our waking lives.
