 You're right, that is incredibly confusing! Sometimes I feel the same. I could be very wrong (I usually am!) but this is how I look at it. Consider a word, any word at all, lets say the word "glass". If you think about that word over and over again and repeat it out loud it starts to lose all meaning. Glass, glass, glass, glass, glass, glass. I hardly know what the word means now. I find this happens with almost every aspect of my life too. Ever tried figuring out a complex puzzle when youve been working on it for hours and youre tired and you just cant think of the answer? Yet after a good nights sleep, a fresh mind and a new pair of eyes the answer can just pop into your head. Its like by thinking too much about one particular thing you completely overcomplicate something that was meant to be quite simple.
Try and put that into context of you and your boyfriend and maybe you can come up with some answers for yourself.
I hope that wasnt too abstract and that you can see where Im coming from. Think it over - just not too hard yeah? ;)

I think you might be trying to convince yourself that your too old to fall in love, or it can't happen - basically telling yourself your not. But I think you probably are.
