We live on different continents, and we've managed to stay faithful, but where do we go from here?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years, but we've only actually seen each other for 6 months out of those two years. We live on different continents and email all the time and occasionally call. I have to stay in Europe for work, but he has freedom of movement and no real ties at the moment.

Is it too much to ask the man I love to come see me, if only for 3 months, to see if what we have is still real? Right now I feel like I'm in love with a ghost, a person of the past. I will be in the States and will try to see him, but the longest I can stay is a month. What do I do? I'm totally desperate right now. We've both been faithful to each other and we love each other, but where do we go from here? What should we do?

Your big sis agony auntI think you should be asking him all those questions, not me. When you get your answers, you'll know more where you stand and what action to take. You and your boyfriend have to communicate these things no matter how small they seem.
