A female reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2006):

Ya if you have been with him for a while then just get his thoughts on it first and if he agrees moving in is a good idea then ask him what he would want to do as far as you to go I wouldn't push it just ask him out of curiosity see what he says. I wouldn't ask him about getting engaged cause the guy should do that on his own time and not feel pressured. Good luck

A female reader, Dawnest +, writes (8 January 2006):

depends on how long you have been seeing this guy. if it has been for over 1 year then you cook him his favourite meal and then raise the subject of the future. Ask him how he sees the future; do you feature in it at all and if you do, any idea when things can move on. He will answer you truthfully or say that he is not ready for committment. Based on those answers you can then decide what to do.
