Sounds like a wise man to me, and wants to be 'available' for his family when he's ready.
Asking him questions about what he wants for his future will help give you insight.

I find it a strange comment. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is a typical cover story which people come off with instead of saying the relationship isn't going anywhere....?

reader, anonymous, writes (26 January 2009): I can't help that much,but he is either saying that he doesn't want to marry you or that u two might actually not have enough time to make all the wedding plans(it takes a while).Try to talk to him about it;he might give you a good answer,and don't think the worst if he really loves you he will find time to marry you!

Its not like the man says 'I dont believe in marriage', then thats a good enough reason.Why are people so complicated these days, everything is so uncertain...
