I have medium/dark blonde hair at the minute, and for a change would like to see what i'd look like with a very dark brown hair colour, like Eva Green's in Casino Royale, or Anne Hathaway's in The Devil Wears Prada. I have pale skin, similar to both of them, and think that they both look gorgeous with the dark hair. However, I like my hair colour at the minute, and as I got the colour from using sun-in, the same colour isn't re-doable. I'm too nervous to dye it permantantly straight away, with out seeing what it looks like first. I've tried Shaders and toners hair dye, but my hair is too light for it to really have any effect. Anyone know of any good temporary hair dyes?

Italie agony auntYou should go to a decent hairdresser first. They can do temporary as well as permanent and can give you advice on what might/might not suit you. If you have pale skin a lot of darker browns will make you look really ill and washed out and you'll have to wear a ton of bronzer to make yourself look human again (remember Eva Green and Anne Hathaway will have had master make up artists at hand!!) but a good hairdresser will be able to avoid that. Trust me, I'm very pale and have been having to dye my hair brown for the past 10 years. After a while you can find a similar colour in a bottle and do it yourself.

One piece of advice i would give you is when you die your hair from blonde to brown, first die your hair red and then die it brown, otherwise it tends to go a browny green colour. But as long as you do that there is no reason that your hair won't come out a gorgious brown. Goodluck
