Hi I'd just like to say a thank you to everyone on this site. After going through a breakup 7 months ago and feeling absolutely devastated. Reading all the problems and answering a few myself has been very therapeutic. I feel in a much stronger frame of mind and have found it a great help. Thanks for all your support, when I felt down you were all there and helped me see a way through a very bad time. For anyone else out there going through a breakup ...time is definitely a great healer. Please carry on the good work...

You know, that ole saying "time is a great healer' is a very solid, tried and true cliche. Breakups are such a shock..one feels we'll never get through it. The emotional and physical pain we can feel is enormous. My rough rule of thumb is that it will take almost half the time you were together to 'really, truely' get over an ex. It's not easy and I am happy to hear that you overcame this tough time in your life. You sound amazingly wonderful, balnaced, healed and ready to take on the world. Stay positive, stay true to you and great things will happen, in your life. Good luck and appreciate you sharing your thoughts with such graciousness.
