Although it seldom happens, the "ideal" situation is to discover a swinging couple among your casual acquaintances.

also, if you have sex with strangers, its a tad bit dangerous considering you don't really know anything about her. you don't know her past, who shes been with, how many people shes been with, etc. also she might have std's so be careful!

reader, anonymous, writes (18 May 2009): depends on the friendship. Some friends are cool some aren't.... talk to them and see - talk around the subject.
But swinging couples can loose partners etc. to friends...and then loose the friend as well....
