writes:I met this guy a month ago, and we have been dating. He is very nice to me and all of my friends and he does whatever we are doing, no matter how silly it is. I can see he wants to make me happy, and he just plain likes spending time with me (whether we are doing something i want to do or he wants to do)....he also likes to communicate, almost too openly so soon but thats ok...the thing is, he has a few things going on in his life that i dont approve of and i dont think are going to stop anytime soon at all.i told him that i dont see us getting serious, and he took it as not dating anymore which i understand seeing as how he wants to be in a serious relationship.so, i guess i should just leave him alone? it would be selfish to try to date him still when in the bigger picture i know he wouldnt fit into my future anyway, and he wants a serious relationship, right?i find myself upset... and it just sucks. I guess because when i fall for someone, hes not interested, and then i find these nice guys that its hard to totally sever ties with because of the few good qualities they have (tho overall they are not right for me)....
