A male reader, anonymous, writes (2 December 2010):

Well i believe that communication is the best way to solve any dispute/problem. Open up to her. Feel free to ask her how she's feeling and stuff. Sometimes, many things remain unsolved, unsaid and that worsens a relationship. So my friend, go and ask her how she's feeling and if there's anything you can do to help her. Best of luck :)

Cerberus_Raphael agony auntI got the impression that you did not apologize face to face. An apology is more sincere when it is face to face, it is easier to accept because the recipient can tell whether or not it is a meaningful apology.

Even if you did apologize face to face, I think the solution here is just to leave it alone for a while. You were both having a bad day, just try not to let that happen again. Assuming this relationship is older than a month, I am quite sure she will truly forgive you in another day or two.

I hope that helps.
