A male New Zealand age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hi, I am a 27 year old guy. And I was out on the town last weekend, And this guy that I know had her sister and her mates out with us.

I got the feeling one of her mates was eyeing me up some of the night. And when we were at the bar my mates sister came and grabed me by the arm dancing me to the dance floor. Once we got there, she stopped me close to this girl I thought might like me. I had the feeling she was trying to pair us up. So I eventually plucked up the courage to ask her to dance, I did this, but instead of waiting for an answer, I just got straight in and had a quick fast dance with her. I was using my manly strength with her, spinning us round and not long into the dance she said to me she wasn't feeling it.

I stopped dancing with her and stepped back and left her to it. I know what I took from that, but I was just wondering what you would take from her saying that, What did she mean by saying she wasn't feeling it?

Thanx

A female reader, Honey88 United Kingdom +, writes (4 August 2009):

Sweetie ive used that line before but in 3 different situations lol so im guessing this might help...

Situation 1.) A guy has approached at a certain moment when im just not in a really good mood,so "im not feeling it" could be her way of saying "sorry,im in a weird kinda mood and would rather be left alone to do my own thing"...

or

Situation 2.)She could have been eyeing you up all night, was a little interested, but just didn't feel any chemistry between the two of you and so "was not feeling it" again meaning "not being rude sweetie, you are cute, but im not as interested as i thought i would be"

or

Situation 3.)maybe she just didn't like the way you dance lol she might be one of those fussy types like me who finds it unattractive if a guy just jumps around in front of her!

Hope ive helped! :D
