writes:im in a new relationship and i made it clear fron the day one that i had trust issues and my partner has lied to me more than ten times and admitted that she had feelings for her dead former partner and her brother and her were constantly bring him up which i found upsetting and ive caught her eyeing up the guy next door who she said she fancied previously and she keeps telling me to stop bring up the past whenever i mention the lies and that i should trust her but its eating away at me and i feel its ruined the relationship and im constanly saddened by the lying and im an emotional wreck. reader, anonymous, writes (12 August 2009): why are you jealous of a dead guy. he is not competing with you so please do not compete with him. do not expect her to just forget about him. grieving takes along time, it is a long process. so allow her to mourn this persons death.
