Question - (15 January 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 16 January 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So My family has been friends with another family for a long time. Their son was nine years old when I was born. At all the gatherings where our families would come together I would hangout with him(Dave) and my older brother(who is 10 months younger than him). My brother and Dave have always been really close and since I was the only girl I just hung with them all the time. We over the years have developed feeling for each other and suffice it to say that we are in love. Well I just turned 18 and am in the 12th grade.

Here enters the problem. Dave(27) became a 12th grade history teacher at my high school last year and guess who's history class I was placed in?? Dave is now my teacher and I don't know what to do. I love him and have a history with him but it's hard to go on dates or be around each other because if any of the other students or teachers found out then he could lose his job and all that. What should we do??

You should talk to him and see if he can teach at another school. If he cant then you will have to be not so together until you leave school because you moving classes could ruin your education.
