The problem is he doesnt want to meet or talk 2 my parents andi was windering why? We are really good together and he looks after me and stuff, i will stay over 2 or 3 times a week but my mum and dad are always on my back wondering why he wont meet them. He says because he thinks my dad is going to hit him or shout at him but thats not true. It will just put my parents mind at ease if he just meets them.How do i do it????? Reply to this Question

 Those are just his excuses for not wanting to meet your parents. There is no basis for that. Perhaps , he thinks it is not the right time yet to meet your parents. You need to be patient.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 January 2008): I personally dont have a problem with age gaps but i think he does. He says he is worried that your dad might hit him, really? Have you said anything that might put this idea in his head? Has someone said something to him to worrying him about going out with a girl under 20? People can be cruel and maybe he has these words lodged in his head. Have a good long chat with him and find out for certain. Your parents are bout to wonder just what the hell is going on, i know i would be the same. talk to him.
