Just take a deep breath, explain you are new to this, and he will be kind. I said that and my bf was sweet and took it slow for me and I now love kissing :)

I've found that it's best not to plan it, else it will fall through and you'll feel like you did something wrong. Let it just happen if you want the best result.
When you feel like "you know what, I want to tongue wrestle this dude" then go in for a peck on the lips, gently lick his bottom lip with your tongue to signal that you want it. If he reciprocates, it'll be a great feeling. And best of all, it won't be forced!
I'll let someone else explain the mechanics behind the actual kiss, as I have no idea how to actually explain the concept. I just thought I'd add my 2 cents as to how to get there.
