A male United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Dear readers,

I am gay and I am happy with it it makes things easier but since this it's harder for me to pretend to be straight I know I'll have to tell everyone someday but that day isn't near maybe a few years on.

The problem is I feel quite upset at times because I don't have a boyfriend and I try to cheer myself up by taking out on the people close to me by arguing and annoying them by repeating them if they said something wrong it's turned into a habit and I need to stop my family are annoyed with me constantly!

How do I deal with it and stop? Help!

A female reader, Beccaa United Kingdom +, writes (14 August 2010):

Beccaa agony auntwell, i think you should be happy about your sexuality.

gay or not.at your age, many teenagers are confused about their sexuality. but by not telling people how you really feel keeps you locked up and living life like a secret.if you have really close friends, you should tell them, because they should be there for you, no matter what. you shouldnt feel upset or take it out on your close ones, they are there to help support you.

i think you should just tell them what is really going on in your life, maybe that will help them understand why you are taking things out on them.
