writes: Hi there.I have fallen for a girl at my work. I really wish I could stop thinking about her. At our annual Christams party, she invited me home with her, but I was in no shape to be going anywhere.I am really afraid that she has found someone else over the holidays, while I am away visting my family. It sounds pretty serious, and she's not that type of girl, if that's what you're thinking. What should I do when I go back to work? How can I get togeather with her without A) Hurting anyones feelings or B) making a total fool of myself?

reader, anonymous, writes (26 December 2006): well an invitation home is a pretty good hint unless she invited the whole lot too. Just come up with a reason to date her our. E.g "To make up for that day, would you like to accept my invitation for dinner?" or something along those line.
if she already found someone over the holidays, seriously you didn't lose anything! move on and count yourself lucky for not getting hurt!

 If she invited you back to her house, then maybe she is that type of girl ?? Why do you think she's suddenly interested in someone else while you're gone? ASk her on a date. Why would anyone get hurt feelings of look foolish?
