Yoga is good for you, has health benefits and it can make you feel better. Is there a connection between yoga and sexual satisfaction? How can yoga help improve your sex life?

Any advice for making yoga seductive? Any advice for using yoga as a part of sex? What yoga moves can be used as a part of sex? Any experiences of yoga being used for and improving sex?

A female reader, pastfirst United States +, writes (14 January 2009):

pastfirst agony auntYoga counteracts stress, fatigue, and poor self-image, all of which can suppress your sex drive.

You can also benefit by increasing your physical fitness, particularly strength, flexibility, and muscle control.

You should make enquiries with a yoga expert as to your other questions. I don't think this is really the type of site that can advise you on how to include yoga in sex. Try reading the Kama Sutra.

A reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2009):

Well, I am in a yoga class at my high school for P.E. and our Yoga teacher, is also the health teacher and she was telling us that yoga does improve your sex life, because it makes you more flexible, and you are able to move your body in ways that can 1) make you feel tighter then you are (such as the way your body is twisted) and 2) makes you feel better about yourself and gives you more engergy... therefore you can go longer. That is what I was told, but I could be wrong. I would say Downward Facing Dog might help, and child's pose.
