My ex preferred it, and though my current never asked me to do it, I made it really wet with my spit one time to make it easier for myself, and he got super turned on. No worries, he's normal. And if you're not comfortable with it, then don't spit on it outright, just let some spit come out of your mouth when you're doing your thing. It'll slowly make it more wet.
