writes: hi, i am going through a pending divorse and have moved into a new house. i am 47 and the neighbor guy is 37. i have known him from work and have run into him at sports events. when we meet he keeps staring at me and is very concerned about the way he looks when we talk. he has a daughter that 12 and i have a son who is eleven. am i too old for him or do you think he just is being a friendly neighbor? he is single too raising his daughter on his own. how do i show him i'm intersted if he is?

So what if you're a bit older, Do you think age really matters? You are both mature adults. Don't let a few years spoil all the fun. I think you have alot in common,both single, children around the same age. Seems to me he is definately into you!
Have a conversation with him and feel him out and see if he is dating anyone without being too direct. If you are into him, maybe flirt a little. See what kind of response you get back. Your never going to know unless you try! ;)
