I'm not perfect, I know I'm a repetitive person.

But not this bad.

I just realized, me and my boyfriend essentially have the same conversation, with minor variations, every night!

I love talking to him (online, cant call or anything), but I want to get this dealt with before it becomes unbearable.

Like all my little worries, I come to my fellow aunts and uncles, because you guys are good at this, and I value your opinions.

So how should I go about making our conversations less repetitive?

I remember, in the beginning, we always used to ask each other a bunch of questions to know more about the other, but now we dont really do that, since we know a whole lot more about each other....

Shadow Rose agony auntWe have similar interests, but I know we've already talked about a lot of them.

A lot of stuff it's like "Oh, I beat Portal 2!" And then there's nothing else to say after we talk about that.

I guess we're boring when talking online.

Now I come to think of it my boyfriend and I usually start our telephone conversations the same every night. He always asks what I have eaten during the day and whether I had a good day at work etc. Sometimes I tell him about a book I am reading or a documentary we have watched or the latest soap storyline! Do you have similar interests that you could talk about? Sometimes my boyfriend and I have have long conversations about morals which is always good because I really like hearing a different point of view.

Shadow Rose agony auntThank you for the advice. Sometimes we do talk sexy, but it's not too often, and it's fairly non-repetitive, since we're still virgins, so there's not much to talk about besides what we want to do to each other our first time xD
