I'm not sure that honesty was the best policy

Question - (24 October 2007) 2 Answers - (Newest, 24 October 2007)
A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have been experiencing some very strong vibes from my girlfriend. She almost seems reluctant to tell me what is wrong. I know it has something to do with me, and I think I know what the problem is. She once told me, she would believe me until I lied to her. I do admit I lied to her, but I was retarded enough to tell her those lies. I thought if I told her, it would make it better. On top of that, I told her all of my old drama. About all the drugs I took and such. Well now, she can get a hold of drugs and plans on using them. She told me "You had fun, now why can't I?" I told her because in the long wrong, and even almost immediately, it is not fun. What do I do? I have tried talking to her, and I am talking to her again at 9 p.m. So I would like some advice before I confront her again.

rcn agony auntI'd tell her, that's fine but you can't be with her if she's doing drugs. Isn't it the number one rule when recovering "don't be around drugs or those who use them."

There was an error in what I wrote before, and I do not see an "Edit Post" button. "In the long wrong" Was suppose to be "In the long run". Also, if it helps, I am 15.
