A male United States age 36-40, *fyoudontmind writes:

I dated this amazing girl for almost four years. And despite the fact I am engaged now I still have thoughts of my ex come into my mind.

They're not just casual, they're not just passive, honestly I have had dreams about her and I getting back together, falling for each other, saying I love you again.

I haven't spoken to my ex in probably, a year and a half so why the pain?

some help

A female reader, BehindThese HazelEyes United States +, writes (29 August 2009):

BehindThese HazelEyes agony aunthmmm, well to me it either sounds like youre still in love it your ex, and if thats the case, then you need to break it off with your current fiance and decide yourself who you want...OR because youre getting engaged and married, maybe youre just nervous about settling down with one person the rest of your life. But my question to you is do you love your fiance?, or why did you propose to her if you werent ready or werent over your ex? and why did your relationship with your ex end if yu said she was an amazing girl? keep us updated with your answers! good luck!
