 You need to go out with your mates socially failing that there are plenty of other ways you can use to meet people online being one of them. I don't see why at your age your so determind to meet sure, I would just wait for the right person to come along as looking for someone may cause you to settle for just anyone.

 umm well first of all maybe going out to clubs or pubs with a few mates and make it different pubs one to two days a week say weekend would be the best youll bound to meet some one going clubbing! or maybe seeing your freinds girlfreinds freind! or maybe asking your freinds to link you up with some one! i would advice you if you can help it to keep away from on line dateing as you will be takeing a risk as you may get attacked or something if you meet strangers off the net!
