writes: i have a teacher at school.she is my counceler.i feel she has used me to keep in contact with one of my friends who is older and in a different school.they both dont talk to me that much.i cant tell my counceler how i feel anymore, thats if i have an appointment.because she keeps forgetting about me.i feel invisible. please give me some advise.. reader, anonymous, writes (8 November 2006): find a different councelor- or bring this issue up with the administration of your school. Councelors should serve a purpose to help you, not for their own selfish reasons. Tell the administration( principal) That you have a complain about a staff member and tell them that they are not serving their function and how you feel about not setting up any further apointments, etc. They will address this and ask to be annonomous as well if you wish, that way if the teacher loses their job, they wont hold a grudge against you. But do what you need to do to get your support and make sure other students like you are getting the support they need as well.Hope this helps!
