writes:I'm so confused about this lad I know from work, so I thought I would ask everyone here for some advice.About 4 weeks ago I started working at this place, and my sister has worked there for 5 years so I knew a few people and always had someone to talk to but where I work, most of the people are young and fun and we all have a laugh. There is one lad, who has been friends with my sister for 3 years since he started working there who never talks to me, yet he talks to every other person in the room. When he does talk to me he always says my name afterwards and he says it really strange making it longer than he has too. Then there are a few times when I look up and he is watching me do my work. I started getting really annoyed at him today because I was doing a new job that I haven't done before. I asked what he was looking at and he just shrugged. But then when we go for a cig, he always smiles at me, or first thing he says hi, and I've noticed he watches me eat at lunch, and first thing he always waits for me to go inside then he'll go too. I do admit I fancied him before I started working there due to the fact I'd meet him when he played football for the local team. Now he's so hot and cold all the time. On Monday he was singing really bad, and me and the girls where laughing at him, then a few mintues later he went back to his cold self. I'm so confused, I don't want to fancy him if he doesn't like me, but I have no idea what's going on in his head. Help please! It's making me think about it all day, and I end up getting behind. reader, anonymous, writes (22 August 2007): Honey, he totally likes you! The trouble with guys is that they don't often show their true feelings so us poor women are left guessing. Eye contact is the best way to find out if he likes you. If you fancy him now, then flirt with him a bit and see how he reacts. And keep looking at him and see if he's looking at you. And after a few days - a week later, ask him how he feels about you. Then you can know for sure. Good luck! x
