Yes count calories & fat. Don't eat more than 1,200 calories or more than 10 grams of fat a day even though it is hard to do..And try to run. Go to www.calorieking.com and you'll be able to enter a food to see how many calories are in foods you eat. I just had a baby april 13 & needed to loose 35 lbs. to get back to my reg. weight, and I have lost 14 lbs. by doing that and I just started about 2-3 weeks ago. I eat whole grain cereal with skim milk & fruit, chicken breast, and vegetables. White meats, and fruits & veggies & whole grains are key. And only drink water, avoid sugar/ coffee & tea are o.k. as long as they aren't sweetened.

You may have a pear body type that gains weight in your hips and thighs as opposed to an apple, who gains it in the stomach....the good news is that your's is the healthier body type, as apples are more vulnerable to heart disease.

There is no way to spot reduce your thigh. You keep the wieght off my actually weighing your food and counting calories...keep that to 1200 to 1300 calories a day of healthy foods, like plenty of veggies, fruits, and stay away from high fructose corn syrup, which is in a lot of processed foods, it actually interferes with a naturally occuring hormone in your body that signals your brain when you are full.

Also, start moving, any weight bearing excercise is good, as is aerobic excercise to strengthen your heart. It is a fact that muscle weighs more than fat and if you build muscle you will burn more calories and increase your metabolism, leading to your weight loss and fitness goals.

Good luck and get going.
