A female United States age 41-50, hoba writes:

To girls out there dating, give love but keep your heart in your own hands. Know that everything in this world has an end, and if the relation you are is of the sort you need to have your life at the end of it. Do not forget your old friends, hobbies, keep some quality time to yourself and let him know about it. A guy should be top priority but not the center of your life, the center of your life is you. You cannot expect a guy to give you the love you want if you don't give yourself the love you deserve. Make him always chase you not the other way round as men seem to lose interest in girls when the tables are turned. And at all times, don't be a drama queen, keep your smile on your face, always act like a lady. And teach yourself this, if it happens that I lost his interest or love that does not mean that I should lose his respect as well. Best of luck

A female reader, Ritasanyal United States +, writes (10 July 2010):

You shouldn’t expect anyone to give you anything my dear - even free time. If you keep it uncomplicated, no demands, no regret, no blame, no anticipation and no game – you will feel an inner peace that only you can gift yourself.

Do what you have to do to the best of your ability without becoming discouraged by the fear of the outcome which may be success or failure, gain or loss, victory or defeat. By doing your duty with this attitude, you will be by far the winner

Don’t forget to love or be loved.

The world is changing and we are fast becoming independent – we value our independence and so when someone tries to gain access before we allow them – it sends alarms all around.

So my dear patience is the name of the game called - Relationship
