reader, anonymous, writes (4 October 2009): Okay, first of all don't think of you having to be the perfect girlfriend and having to change all of your ways in order to please another person. That will all just come naturally when you're with the right person. Basically guys would like a girlfriend who is caring, loving, honest, and would do anything for them. Or if you're dating a stereotypical guy then he would like you to clean the house, take care of the kids, and refresh his beer and make him a sandwich while he sits on his recliner and watches sports all day.
But for real, to keep a relationship working you need to be open and honest with the other, and have good communication. Make sure you're both on the same page and aren't misinterpreting each other.
