reader, anonymous, writes (22 August 2010): It's hard to know..there are the clichéd telltale signs but they don't apply to everyone. Obviously that's not very helpful sorry... but I find it good to see how long it can go on for. You know, you can have a crush on someone and it might last a few weeks but when you're in love with someone it's a lot more long term and you cherish every second you're with the person. You feel as if you're walking on air and everything in the world seems great. You can't stop smiling even if you aren't with the guy and you're always in a good mood.
Don't worry if people say you're too young, age doesn't matter when you're in love. Just make sure you don't do anything rash, being in love is brilliant but it can make you do some stupid and impulsive things. Stay true to yourself...look to wants written in your heart...don't drop everything, you never know when you might need it...but most of all, don't be afraid to fall, you might not get another chance.

 seeing as ur young this may be your first time, lets say when you fall in love, something in you sinks whenever you see them. you tend to avoid them but you always find yourself around them.
you tell yourself that you wont make a fool of yourself around them, but when they talk to you, u just did because you were smiling too much. when they are really close to you, you tend to feel sweaty and your pulse abit quick. you keep looking at them and when you catch their eye you feel giddy inside and look away blushing furiously....
there are many symptoms to put down, these are just the main..
