writes:One of my good friends , let's call her Kalyn has liked this guy, James , she barely knows for two years. They used to talk as good friends but once out of elementry and into high school they stopped talking. She's liked him ever since they stopped talking , I kind of feel bad because she hasn't really had anything special with guys , and there was this one guy who loved her but she was still caught up on James so she let go the one who really loved her. James doesn't notice her , and it's obvious to me , but she doesn't notice. She always thinks that when they have eye contact even for a second that something special came between them and that they'll end up together.. What do I do to convince her to move on ?

reader, anonymous, writes (7 April 2011): unfortanly,you carnt.this happened to me 3 weeks ago,and all my mates do is tell me to forget him and move on. but its not that simple. when you love someone that much,no words from your friends matter. all i was saying when my friends said this to me was 'i just want him' which is no help at all. you carnt make a girl move on,they have to find away to do it themselves.
