i wouldn't change u and your friend to partners because if something goes wrong your jepardising your friendship if u change as partners. so the best bit would be to stay mates and just wait for a bit and just wait for whoever makes the first move. x

I was friends with a guy like that and one day out of the blue he said he had feelings for me. We dated for a about 3 months but it felt weird so stopped dating but the best thing about it was that because we were such good friends it didn't affect our friendship in the least...
There's no harm in asking her out and see what she says - you've nothing to lose - Good luck :)

well you cant really change anything unless you ask and she says yes! so theres your anser go and ask! but before you do ask your self will this ruin your freindship or not? will you still be freinds if you ever split up! maybe you could tect her or write her a letter explaining how you dont want to ruin your ralationship but you do want to be more than freinds! or if you have the courage as i said go and ask! youll never know untill you do!

Have you tried a little light flirting with her and see how she reacts back to it?
