To build up trust, you have to have less hesitancy, less fear, and less questions which all three may cause doubt. If all combined, you have less doubt or bare doubt, then your trust will continue to grow. If you have more questions, more fear, and more hesitancy, then your doubt will overwhelm your trust for him, in which will lead to the decay of trust.
