reader, anonymous, writes (12 August 2009): Simple: Tell them. If you are currently friends with this person, tell them you want to talk with them about something that means a lot to you. Then tell them you have feelings for them. It's better to just tell them and find out if they feel the same. Then at least you get a status on your relationship with them--whether it could happen, whether it won't happen, or whether they want to start a relationship with you soon or even then. It's better to know now and not waste time on someone who might not have feelings for you, too.
