reader, anonymous, writes (28 June 2008): Dress nice and get a nice haircut. If you have a very trustworthy female friend, ask her for advice on how to appeal to women. Like the other person said, don't be too nice or too sweet because women think they're being smothered or overprotected. Also use some conversation starters. If you're good at making jokes, then make some. Almost every girl likes to laugh and joking about stuff is a good plus. Also, be assertive about your decisions. Looking confident, even if you're not, is a big thing. This will show the other girls that you will stand out no matter what. When you ask someone out, don't look nervous or stutter. Again, be assertive and authoritative, yet adding a bit of your sweetness in the conversation.
Remember to dress nice most of the time and keep a good hygene. This is the first thing women look at, so try investing in yourself.
