I work at a pool in concessions, so there is no need for alot of us, theres 2 managers, 3 team leaders, and 4 part timers, im part time, the thing is, i work 3 days- 4 hour shifts, in two weeks! Ive asked my manager if there is any way i can get more hours and he refuses to answer me! I know the other 3 are getting plently of hours, how do i handle this?? im only 17, and thankfully only a summer job, but i only get 2 more checks and i have things i need to pay for, car payment, gas, insurance... reader, anonymous, writes (13 July 2012): I told my manager I wanted to move to full time but I wasn't only going to say it but prove it, I did absolutely everything without him having to tell me to do a thing. I moved up to full time and key holder.
