A male United States age 41-50, *ind80 writes:

I had a relationship of almost 2 years.

My girlfriend has lied to me regularly, shouted at me, has been physically agressive by kicking me multiple time, cheated on me, stole from my house, stole from my computer, watched my emails and skype when I was not home

But since I wake up till I go to bed I can't stop thinkin about her.

I've tried to meet other women, but I still think about her when with them and I feel bad, like I'm cheating.p

I've tried to go out and do sports but is not enough.

I've tried movies, everything.

I even talk to my best friends everyday.

But I can't take her out of my head from morning to night and I feel the need to call her all the time

Even she says she doesn't want to see me anymore, just listening to her voice makes me feel more calm

But I want to stop this and I don't know what to do.

I want to erase her from my head and be stronger.

What should I do?

Hello,

This "woman" mistreated you, cheated on you, stole from you, physically abused you. Seems like you became used to her unstable behavior.

You need to talk to someone in regards to why your allowing anyone to hurt you in these ways. She was abusive to you, and you need to be with someone who is stable.

Good luck

ashieebabiee agony auntokay i am going through the same situation and i still love my ex very much but this is what you should try. write down all the positive and negatives about her. ask yourself why do i love her. keep looking at the list and keep asking yourself questions if you dont have a good enough answer than obviously you dont love her. and if she really loved you, she wouldnt be doing all those things to you. take it from someone like me i been going on four years dealing with my ex but i still love him, i found out the only reason why i still love him is because im only trying to change him.... you need to still keep on going out but you dont have to date...try new things dont do things thats always the same....keep on doing what your doing and eventually your thoughts about her will be buried forever. note: i always think of my ex but than i think of all the wrong he has done to me.... goodluck...:)
