How can I conceal these stretch marks before prom?

Hi! :)

Ok I feel really paranoid because my prom is in 2 weeks and I have stretch marks on my legs, the thing is, I'm wearing a knee length dress because I'm not actually overweight, (size 8/10) so I have no idea why I have these stretchmarks and it's really getting me down because apart from this, I'd say I look nice in a dress, I'm very conscious about it though, is there any way at all I can conceal them? I am very pale, and tanning would probably help BUT I really don't suit a tan, I look extremely odd, and I'm going for the pale skin, dark hair, red lips kinda pin up look as I have a 50's style dress and don't want to fall into the cliche group of people who've put too much fake tan etc

So yeah, is there anything I can do to conceal it? I realise I've left it considerably late to use bio oil, any help at all would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

loveistheanswer agony auntIt is actually pretty common for teenagers to get stretch marks due to quick growths spurts during this age. Look it up online, it's true! I've hard stretch marks on my butt ever since I was a teen, and I was a slim looking teen! I don't give them a second thought! When you're a teenager you don't realize how beautiful you are until you are ten years older looking back on your pictures! Please I beg you don't give it a second thought. They are not nearly as big of a deal as they are made out to be. Just imagine the people that get tattoos on purpose, they're getting a heck of a lot more dramatic marking on their skin than you are, and they're doing it ON PURPOSE! Remember what's more important to looking nice is skin and body tone, not the absence of an incidental stretch mark!

No tanning wouldn't help. I have lots of stretch marks, on my legs, back, sides and biceps. Some of us just get them but they're nothing to worry about. What happens when you tan is your skin tans and the stretch marks don't so they look really bright.

Why don't you wear a pair of tights or pantyhose to match the colour of your dress. Or if it's 50's style then you can just wear thick white pantyhose. I think that's your best bet. Or maybe the girls here know of a waterproof concealer that wont rub off onto your dress and look weird.

depending on how bad they are, sunless taner can blend them with your skin since prom is usually a dark lit place, or if they are more bad then that, where panty hoes of a natrual color, you wont be the only girl there wearing them if you do. i would keep a pair of panty hoes in your purse just in case the ones you wear rip, theyre always so fragile or you have last min second thought about the tanner working, as you can sneek into the bathroom and change into them:)
