Hi. I've been going out with my bf for 7 months, were in love and everything is going well. However, there is one thing that bothers me about him. Since day one, he's been a very touchy feely kind of person, meaning he's always trying to tickle me, pull at my nose or poke me in a lovely dovy way i guess, but it's starting to irritate me. For example, the other night he came over and was chatting with me and my mom, and he keep trying to tickle my stomach or touch my arm while we were having a conversation. My mom even commented on how rediculous it looked. He does it a lot in public too, am i'm all about pda, but hugging and holding hands mostly. Were both in our early 20's, i'm 21, he's 23, and i feel like he's acting so immature. He has a lot of younger siblings, age 4 and up, so i always assumed he acts so childish because he's around them and that's how he plays with them. But it really is starting to bother me, and although i've tried to talk to him about, he still continues to do it. i tell him to act his age, but he says its no fun. I feel embarrassed about it, especially if my friends are present. Am i making a big deal out of nothing here? I don't know how else to get through to him without being mean to him, anyone have any suggestions on what to say? thanks soo much for listening.

My boyfriend does this too, but at least not in public or in front of people. I can see your point because you dont want people looking at you like a 12 year old couple that cant handle their hormones. It is something that can be cute and playful when your alone, but its not something you do infront of other people. If he absolutely insists, next time run away like a child and see how he reacts when you respond immaturely.
