writes:Me and my partner have been together nearly 1 and a half years, im 20 weeks pregnant with his child and for the past week he has been sleeping on the settee and claims he doesnt feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. Its driving me mad as I struggle to sleep without him, hes asked me to sleep on the settee with him but I just cant get comfortable. How can I get him to come to bed with me as I dont think I can carry on like this for much longer. Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (29 August 2012): If neither of you are comfortable sleeping where the other does, perhaps buy a double air bed for you both to sleep on, it could be a temporary solution to this problem. I have one that I use when I'm temporarily staying somewhere that beds are limited.
